  • PROJECT ENGINEER --  

    Responsible to partner with RFQ/NPI Project Manager to provide technical review, capability assessment, and specification support to identify critical steps, requirements and deliverables for the RFQ and new customer products. This includes ensuring NPI build documents, programs and tools are completed and made production ready, that project issues are resolved and maintaining customer’s change control.


    Minimum qualifications require a 4 year degree in Engineering or similar technical field, 4 years of work experience in a lean manufacturing environment and in-depth understanding of manufacturing processes. Effective relationship building and communication (written and spoken English) are a must.

  • QUALITY ASSURANCE INSPECTOR --  

    Responsibilities include ensuring paperwork is of current revision and accurate, visual examination of assembly using halo lamp or other appropriate inspection aids for conformance to specs (i.e. IPC-610, J-STD-001 or customer specifications), complete training for J-STD and IPC-A-610 Acceptability of Electronic Assemblies, document results of inspection on log sheets, observe product as it is being assembled and verify key process points consistent with SOPs.


    The minimum qualifications for this position include a positive attitude, great work ethic, takes pride in accurate detail work, basic computer skills, good eyesight--good attention to detail (comfortable using a microscope), math skills to including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, sequential ordering and serial number matching -- applied in a work environment, neat handwriting and good spoken English and experience working with IPC 600, 610 and J-STD-001 standards.


  • SMT LINE OPERATOR I/II --  

    Responsible for the efficient running of multiple SMT machines by following the daily work schedule. Must complete work in compliance with quality criteria. Also must successfully complete J-Std training and IPC-A-610 Acceptability of Electronic Assemblies Training. Must complete work in compliance with quality criteria


    Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, good spoken and written English skills, basic math skills, good vision for fine and color review, able to work on feet moving around most of the day using arms/hands for physical set up and running of machines. Additionally, the candidate will have experience running and maintaining production machines and is a faced-paced, multi-tasker who can anticipate and adjust quickly to changes


  • SMT NPI SUPPORT/SET UP -- First (6 am - 2:30 pm) and Second (2:30 pm - 11 pm) Shifts --  

    Responsible for providing SMT support by loading the screen printers and feeders onto machine during the change overs. Support the SMT lines when there are shortages or stoppages. Ensure shortest changeover time and longest up time on SMT lines. Includes setting up feeder per instructions by verifying appropriate set-up kits and components prior to installing into feeder. Tears down feeders and returns remaining components to stockroom.


    Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, good spoken and written English skills, basic math skills, good vision for fine and color review, able to work on feet moving around most of the day using arms/hands for physical set up and running of machines. Additionally, the candidate will have experience running production machines and is a fast-paced, multi-tasker who can anticipate and adjust quickly to changes.


  • Experienced Soldering Technician --  

    Responsibilities include being able to hand-solder SMT components, remove and replace thru-hole comp without board damage, solder wires and cables, identify assembly and documents issues. Prefer than can also remove and replace SMT components without damage, perform SMT rework, write ECO to have assembly and document issues corrected, complete NCP form when non-conforming product is identified.


    Minimum qualifications require high school diploma or equivalent, ability to read and interpret documents, ability to write routine reports and speak English with other employees. Also, must have successfully completed J-Std and IPC-A-610 Acceptability of Electronic Assembly training. Also preferred are IPC-7711/IPC-7721 Rework and Repair of Electronic Assemblies training.


  • Receptionist and Human Resources Administrator --  

    This role is a front-line highly visible one. As Qualitel's primary ambassador, reception area traffic director and human resources administrator you'll be responsible to ensure the company is represented in the most positive light with customers, employees, vendors, auditors, and potential employees on the phone and in person. This position requires calm and diplomatic traffic director/coordinator who efficiently multitasks to ensure multiple and competing parties have their needs met positively and professionally. Primary Duties include front desk phone answering and reception area greeting, job opening communication/coordination (reception e-board, daily news, website, advertising locations, lunch room, other), internal daily news update, room scheduling for interviews and overall calendaring (linked to Daily news), supporting HR Manager and Director of HR with Timekeeping (Time Force), candidate screening, employment verifications, vacation request review, scheduling Interviews, administering interview assessments, conducting onboarding (new hire paperwork, training, presentation, testing, schedule for 90 day review), completing background checks and references, coordinating HR Employees Relations events (staff events, annual picnic, etc.), responding to general employee relations enquiries as needed, employee benefits admin sign up/removal, filing of HR and accounting related documentation, other duties as assigned


    Minimum requirements for this position include an AA degree and/or work related training plus 5 years of work experience. The successful candidate will have excellent diplomacy, prioritizing, communicating and organizing skills. Training and/or experience with human resources and/or payroll an asset.


  • TEST TECHNICIAN/OPERATOR --  

    Position responsibilities include following verbal and written instructions, such as work instructions and/or test plans in completing highly repetitive task under direct supervision. Performing quality checks including electrical measurements or electrical test necessary to ensure conformance to performance requirements. Obtaining, updating, and completing proper documentation for testing products, such as test records. Being able to review required records to ensure compliance. Being able to read and understand quality and manufacturing documentation. Also once trained, being able to operate basic electronic test equipment, including scopes, multi-meters, power supplies, HI-Pot Testers, ATEs, and customer owned test equipment. Test Technicians/Operators must have the ability to maintain a safe and clean work area, have strong attention to detail, work effectively and efficiently individually and/or as part of a multidisciplinary team, and demonstrate an ability to organize and set up work area to maximize efficiency and quality.


    The minimum qualifications for this position include a minimum of 1 year experience working with electronics. Basic computer skills. Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, sequential ordering and serial number matching. Neat handwriting and good spoken English. Strong attention to detail, good eyesight, and the ability to work effectively and efficiently individually and/or as part of a team. Electrical/test related training classes preferred. A positive attitude, great work ethic, and takes pride in accurate detail work.

  • ELECTRONICS ASSEMBLY SUPERVISOR --  

    Primary responsibilities include directly supervising employees in electronics assembly manufacturing operations. Carrying out responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Planning, directing, and coordinating the operations of production, machinery, and processing in a manufacturing area. Prioritizing production based on production schedules, equipment efficiency, available labor, and materials supply. Developing schedules and staffing requirements based on production guidelines/schedules. Making budgetary recommendations on capital expenditures and labor. Training or coordinating training for employees as required for their job classification as well as cross-training and enhancing skills to prepare them for advancement. Continually auditing area of responsibility to ensure line setups & operations follow lean practices (including single piece flow & 5S). The Electronics Assembly Supervisor ensures all process specifications, product specifications, and quality standards are being met. Ensures daily schedules are being met, and schedules are being properly updated. Ensures tools and equipment are maintained, calibrated and in good working order. Identifies and replaces rejected materials through established processes. Analyzes data to identify issues and improvement opportunities and enact changes or take appropriate action as required. The Electronics Assembly Supervisor works with management and Support Staff to solve issues and implement changes as required. Maintains open communications with management and employees to ensure production schedules and quality goals are met. Performs functions of job while promoting and maintaining positive employee and customer relations, and maintains records as needed. The Electronics Assembly Supervisor is also involved with interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.


    Minimum qualifications include an AA degree, 3-5 years supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment (electronics manufacturing preferred), excellent relationship building and communication skills, strong organization, coordination and prioritization abilities, experience with ERP or similar systems. Experience in the aerospace, defense or medical industries a plus.

  • QUALITY ENGINEER --  

    Position responsibilities include performing complex assignments to develop, apply, and maintain quality requirements for processing components and other materials into finished goods and products. Designing and implementing methods, procedures, and process controls to ensure the quality level and requirements for products are consistently met. Reviewing quality and manufacturing documentation to ensure it contains the necessary criteria and provisions to meet product specifications and if necessary, helping to revise this documentation. Analyzing non-conforming product and returned product to recommend effective corrective and preventative actions and helping to drive and implement these actions when necessary. The Quality Engineer interfaces with customers and coordinates internal efforts to correct process deficiencies. He/she ensures timely resolution of quality problems and helps implement long-term solutions to processes and practices to prevent reoccurrence of problems. The Quality Engineer coordinates with customers to define what quality data and metrics must be collected and shared with each customer regularly. He/she ensures this data is sent to each customer as required and uses this data to drive improvements, preventative actions, and communicates these actions to affected customers. The Quality Engineer also facilitates SPC implementation and interprets SPC data and other quality data/charts to determine if corrective/preventive action is necessary. Works with Process Engineering and Quality Manager to ensure timely distribution of Inspection Data and/or SPC information to affected Work Areas, and ensures that data collected is used to drive improvement. He/she perform frequent process audits to ensure personnel and processes are following/meeting all MVP's, MDP's, BOM's, Drawings, Flag Notes, Process Instructions and other documented requirements. The Quality Engineer also manages/supervises AS9102 First Article Inspections and related activities as needed. As well as ensures AS9102 system and records comply with all Company, Customer and AS9100 requirements.


    Minimum qualifications for this position include experience and ability to fulfill all job responsibilities. A positive attitude, great work ethic and takes pride in quality outcomes. A Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; plus a minimum of five (5) years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. The ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. The ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public. The ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry. As well as understanding of stats & SPC Methods (Statistical Process Control).

  • HUMAN RESOURCES MANAGER --  

    The HR Manager leads and manages the overall provision of HR services, policies, and programs for Qualitel. He/she encourages an employee-oriented company culture that emphasizes quality, continuous improvement, key employee retention and development, and high performance. The HR Manager coordinates the implementation of people-related services, policies, and programs through a combined staff of administrators under the direction of the controller. Other responsibilities include payroll and benefits administration, policy development and documentation, recruiting and staffing exceptional candidates and team members, employee onboarding, development, assessment, training guidance, and performance management (including monitoring employee attitude/morale, performance and productivity). The HR Manager is also responsible for employee relations such as, employee safety, welfare, wellness, employment and compliance to regulatory concerns. The HR manager also serves as the safety committee manager.


    Experience/Qualifications: Five or more years' experience as an HR Manager and the head of the human resource function. Working in a mid-sized growing company of 150-200 employees--able to define systems and processes. Respect and appreciate working with a diverse workforce-- experience with Asian culture is an asset. Four year college degree and PHR or SPHR Certification Preferred

  • SMT TECHNICAL LEAD - First Shift --  

    This role is a production role supporting technical workflow, employee training and troubleshooting in the SMT function. Demonstrate master skill in all areas of SMT production including set-up, board washing, stencil print operations, pick and place operations and reflow operations, 1st part verifications, semi-routine adjustments, troubleshooting, and quality auditing. Assist engineering with programming and troubleshooting of SMT machines. Complete and maintain all required records. Train all other SMT personnel in skills required to successfully complete required job functions. Maintain organization and cleanliness of SMT work area. Continually strive to develop ways to reduce costs and improve overall quality. Successful candidate will be a fast-paced, multi-taker, strong communicator who and anticipates and adjust quickly to changes.

    DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Also must have successfully completed the IPC-J-STD and IPC-A-610 Acceptability of Electronic Assemblies Training. Advantageous if candidate has familiarity or experience with MYDATA equipment.

    EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE. High School diploma or general education degree (GED) plus a minimum of one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience in a lean environment and with IS9001 and AS 9100 standards a plus.
