Our NPI process starts with engineering accurately planning the manufacturing of your product when we first receive your RFQ. From our standard modeled processes, we create a detailed manufacturing plan (MVP) that lists the various operations required to build your product. Next, a detailed set of step-by-step instructions (MDP) for each operation is documented, including automated processes and test plans if required. For turnkey orders, we formulate a complete materials and receiving inspection plan. The bi-product of all this upfront engineering investment is a detailed manufacturing plan and accurate quotation ready for your order.

During the NPI manufacturing phase, the manufacturing plans are executed and verified, with only planned processes being used. The assigned planning/quoting engineer works closely with our manufacturing engineers and production team members to shepherd your product through the entire production process. For turnkey orders, the materials and receiving inspection plans are also executed and verified. The final NPI output is a product and proven plan ready to be turned over to sustaining production
