Quality
is the first priority throughout all Qualitel business
activities. Qualitel employees are selected for their
ability to do quality work, trained to meet quality
standards, and are expected to make quality their first
priority in their work. Along with this, Qualitel
continues to strive for continuous improvements in every
aspect of our quality system.
Quality System
Qualitel
quality system is registered with BSI to ISO9001:2000,
ISO13485
Medical Devices, and
AS9100
Aerospace
standards. With
comprehensive Corrective/Preventive Action, Non-Conforming
Products, Internal Audit, Management Review, Process
Validations, and other process procedures implemented,
Qualitel insures that we are continually improving our
system.
Training and Standards Qualitel has adopted
IPC-A-610 Rev D as its standard for electronics assembly
workmanship. Specific customer requirements take priority
over standards where there is conflict. Qualitel production
team is 100% certified with IPC-A-610 Rev D and almost all
our employees are certified with J-STD-001 Workmanship
standards. In addition, Qualitel's supervisors,
leads, and managers provide continuous training as new
processes and systems are introduced.
Document Control Qualitel manages and controls assembly documentation to insure that
only current documentation is in use. Qualitel uses an
online on-demand document system that is also backed up
and stored off site.
Work Instruction Documentation Qualitel uses Engineering
CAD software to create detail work instructions for
manufacturing and CAM output to our SMT system. All
work instructions are available online and are released
real-time.
Barcoding System Qualitel
uses barcodes throughout the manufacturing floor. All
our SMT parts our barcode and are identified automatically
with our SMT systems. All work instructions,
pick slips, and travelers contain barcode for accurate
tracking and trace-ability of the product.
Work Order Tracking All products at Qualitel
are labeled with a work order number and a unique serial
number. If requested, these numbers can also be bar-coded.
As each operator performs an operation, data is collected
via a barcode reader that logs the operator, work order
number, and the process operation number. This data is
available for trace-ability purposes and real-time tracking
of each operation as it is completed.
Quality Assurance Inspection
steps verify quality at strategic points throughout
production, from receiving through shipping. Depending
on the product, detailed inspection plans are followed and
data is collected on logs.
Statistical Process
Controls (SPC) Data
is collected on logs and are later used for SPC. Corrective
actions are used if needed to trigger continuous improvement
actions.
Electrostatic Discharge
(ESD) Our factory
floor is installed with 3M Antistatic Tiles and Epoxy
coating. In addition, our employees are trained to test
their wrist straps and foot straps daily. With a
comprehensive ESD procedure and system in place, we
eliminate any ESD issues.
Calibration and
Maintenance We ensure
that all our other equipment and tools are properly
maintained and calibrated.
